Friday Hiking

Hikes are planned at locations in south central Wisconsin. Families meet up (in all seasons!) for a child led hike. We then gather for picnic lunch followed by games and free play. Occasionally, field trips are substituted for a traditional hike - the aquarium and The Riverside and Great Northern Railway were recent adventures!

Why Waldorf-inspired

Waldorf Education has a long and successful 100 year+ history of providing a rich growing environment for the child's mind, body, and soul. The integration of handwork, practical arts, movement, music, and so much more into the learning process is holistic and practical in its approach. Instead of piecing things into the separate parts, Waldorf works from the whole. Education is an ART and our facilitators take that to heart!
